This layout is NOT MY STYLE! It is so sweet and pastel-y. I have no idea how I got this done. Looking at it I feel like I'm lovesick. *shudder* I like the image, which is why. I spent like the whole afternoon doing this! I am still unsatisfied with the scrollbars.

I really like Never Be Replaced by 1st Ladi! The lyrics are nice too =)

I feel LOVESICK. Shudder.

What a GREAT way to make way for the new year! Feeling lovesick!

PS: instead of my reflections, it turned out to be one whole chunk of 2/7-tribute-tis.

My Reflections 2004

Yes, I'm going to do my reflections. No matter how cliched or done-to-death it is. I've never done my reflections for a year before. Because 2004 has been one of the most meaningful years in my life.

I'd never experienced such class spirit for my class before. I had no idea I could feel so much for a class. This class is special. This class has been with me for 2 years. Our classroom is special. It's where we understood each other better, hugged each other in emotional states, made fun of each other's hair (ahem), consoled each other when someone was feeling down, did maths homework together, slaved over for our exams, took our exams (sorry for the interruprtion- but MATHS SUCKS), jumped in joy together when realising we haven't failed anything, cried together on the last day of school. What makes the classroom even more special is us. And all of my friends.

Jia, Sasa, Wen, Lijie, Weiwei, Xinyi, Yixuan.. we always go out together to take neos. We always eat at fast food restaurants in Far East. We always stroll down the streets of Orchard Road together. We always squeal over stupid things we see together. We always (ok, I) try to shut Sasa up when she is in a singing mood. We always watch movies together at Cineleisure.

Jia, Sa.. we always stayed back in school to do attempt homework. We always watched the rain and always sang songs together. We always mourned over the amount of homework we have and how maths is a crappy subject (ok, just Jia and I). Jia and I always bully Sa. And Sa always falls asleep no matter where she is.

Lijie, Weiwei, Xinyi, Yixuan, Wen.. we always walked home together after school. Always insisted Lijie/I have big mouths/talk too much/very noisy. Always walked from one end of the MRT platform to the other. Always ran up the escalators when the train was approaching.

Jia, Sa, Wen, Nicky.. us 3 girls are probably the people to frequent your house most often. Always playing Resident Evil. Always playing with your pillows. Always commenting on your brother's long fingers. Always having dinner at your house.

Always screaming at the class to shut up. Always grumbling that I have to clean up for the class. I think I'm going to miss doing them (just a little bit).

For all those "always"s.. thank you. Thank you all for being there.

I have a sudden impulsion to shout out my crush's name. But thank God I still owe that little bit of willpower.

Next year's 3/4... wonder if it'll work? I know quite a lot of people in it. Looking forward to being part of 3/4`05.. Not looking forward to the banner part at all.

God this sounds like a whole pile of shit. PLEASE DON'T MAKE ME DELETE THEM!!! I've been typing for 40 minutes!!!

Went out with darling Grace today! Haven't gone out with her for a long long time =( We watched Kungfu Hustle today! It was supposed to be a whole group of us. But, Bert cancelled because of a high fever, Lok kept telling us he might not make it because he had to return to school again next day (stupid genitals need frying), Yuanyuan and the 2 of us are not really that chummy. So it became just Grace and I.

Kungfu Hustle was damn lame!!! But it was entertaining while it lasted. So funny =) But also very unsuitable with people for very weak stomachs. It was horribly violent in the beginning.

Then we went to take neos =)

Lok's name is there because he stood us up afterall. We want to beat him up.

Then we went around looking for Grace's pencil box =D In the end she bought one with lotsa POLKA DOTS! Like cows!!!

And MOE's dairy farm won't have real cows. =( Boo.

Ok fingers aching. Won't elaborate.

BUT TODAY IS 30TH DECEMBER! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TAMMY! And tomorrow is the last day of 2004! Oh my God! One whole year! AGAIN!

even in the rain, i shall think of you;

my singapore.

Grace is lending me her poncho =D It's the one she koped from NDP. Yay!! Now I have a poncho. And I will be wearing Singapore on my chest all the time. Such patriotism ought to earn a medal or two right =)

Tomorrow am watching Kungfu Hustle with Grace!!! I'm a bit worried for the netballers who have to continue the banner tomorrow though -_______-''

Grace I missed yoooooooooooooooooooooo-`

Lingga says @#%$! at 10:59 PM

The results are out. I'm in 3/4.

As expected.

I don't want 3/4! 3/4 means next year I'll be in 4/4. And I hate repeated numbers in my classes. Blearghs >.<

But it's still much better than some poor souls who are separated from their friends next year. And stuck with a group of 2/_ people. Like Wen. Sigh.

It's hard for me to be happy when there are people around me so sad. And I don't even know how to console them! Because at the same time I'm happy for myself and secretly relieved I'm not in their shoes. Sounds mean, but it's human. I have Jia with me. And Nicky, Amy and a whole lot of likeable people. I'm even reunited with Sankari from 6A.

So tough. To be in 3/7 and not have any other 2/7ners to celebrate with.

Anyway, heard from Wen that WE WON'T BE SLEEPING IN TENTS AT THE CAMP!!! Correction: the girls don't have to sleep in tents. The guys do. Hohoho. Envy us, hate us. We don't mind =) The girls get dormitories. I think. Definitely something with a ceiling.

It seemed just like a year ago when 6A was painting the P1 classrooms. Just a few months ago when I walked home with Cybil on my first day of Anderson in 2003. Just a few weeks ago when I blogged about looking forward to not-being-the-most-junior ones in school and laughing at the semi-midget-sized Sec 1s.

Now it's 29th December 2004, and 2004 is ending. Now I'm part of the "Upper Sec". And have survived to tell the story. Heck, I even passed maths. 2004 wasn't a bad year. Of course there were ultra-low moments, but also the fair share of ultra-high ones =D God I sound so stupid doing some half-crap reflection here. And it's not even a proper reflection.

Whatever.

Lingga says @#%$! at 5:45 PM

God, what am I doing here at 1.34am in the morning?!

Even though, of course, my bedtime nowadays is anything after 12am.

But still, it's weird. Like I'm being a "nice Morkie night owl" (don't ask me about that).

I've been so behind in blogging these days T_______T My entries are shorter than my right side bar. Again. That never happened in the past. Either I'm too stressed up, or I'm just plain lazy. I think the latter sounds more logical, because I'm not stressed at all =) Heck, I don't even have holiday homework. It's a refreshing change from rushing through all the maths IQ worksheets 2 days before the first day of school and then screaming in horror and believing that I've been struck by idiocy and that I would fail all my next year maths exams because I'm stupid.

Just saying that.

To all the Andersonians who haven't been back to school regularly these hols (unlike me), our old Sec 3/4 block is now painted bright orange. And the railings are a vibrant red. If you want to know how striking it is - I spotted the block 10km away. Gawd. What if they paint the rest of the school bright orange and red?! I will positively die. I can just see more residents complaining to the school by writing letters about how our school building is disrupting their sleep because they can't even sleep at night as the colours are too bright and they just soak through the curtains/blinds or whatever, and then Mrs Tan telling us in morning assembly (in the school hall because she doesn't want the uncles at the coffeeshop opposite to listen) how we need to raise funds to buy sunglasses for all the residents within a 2km radius of the school so they can sleep in peace, and could we please help sell more McDonald vouchers? *winces*

Speaking of orange, I really don't want to live with an orange hand. Which is what I got yesterday (since it's after 12 tonight) doing the netball banner with the rest of the sec 2 netballers. One of the good things about g.i.a.n.t.s is that we are totally efficient. In 2/7, we would never have settled the design, cloth, paint and brushes in under 3 hrs.

I had forgotten (again) how much making banners suck (I distinctly remember an entry just before my 14th birthday saying something like "I'd forgotten how much I hate banner making"). I felt sorry for people like Xueling who have never been exposed to the horrors of banner-making. It's like, she'll have to live with the memories of orange hands for the rest of her life. And so do I, but hey, I came to terms with that a yr ago.

It's too early to tell if the banner will turn out nice, but at this stage it looks screwed -______-'' I got paint on my reebok shorts and my PE shirt. As usual. And we had to sit next to the drains near the carpark washing our hands, which were completely covered in orange paint, with thinner and water, and I really thought for a moment there that the paint had grown a skin layer over my skin. It was just so GROSS. Like, eek. It was a totally significant and profound moment. Scrubbing paint off the paint brushes with our fingers sitting next to drains.

Forget about stupid banners. Tomorrow I have to return to school to buy my books (yes, I still haven't bought them, and no, I'm not worried about not studying because I have never planned on studying my sec 3 topics in the hols). I still don't have a poncho for the adventure camp. And I only have 1 pair of track pants. Heck, why do we need so many pairs of track pants anyway. The camp's held in a dairy farm -______________-'' Wen's got this thing with sleeping with the cows and eating steak. I'm just greatful we don't need to sleep in tents. I think. Wait, no one ever MENTIONED that we were sleeping under a CEILING, right?! Oh my gosh. We may just end up in tents after all!!!!

The Beaten Path
You take the Beaten Path.

After all, that's what it's there for right? You are content with the options already
laid out for you definitely of the "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." frame of
mind. You tend to be a follower rather than a leader, but that's fine because
all good leaders must first be good followers. You tend to follow the crowds
living life the tried and true way, often letting others make the decisions.
Just don't forget you have a mind too. Never be afraid to voice your ideas or
opinions, no matter how ridiculous others may think they are. This beaten path
is your comfort zone, you want and deserve company on your travels trough life
as you are probably a very friendly and kind individual, always putting the
needs of others before your own. That's an excellent and all too rare quality.
Never lose it. But being surrounded isn't always the best. People tend to try
and take charge and advantage of the fact and if you aren't careful, it'll
be your life that's been taken over. Venture away from your well-traveled road
and find your own away. Head down that road less-traveled and see what's there
because though the path you're on may have been done before, that doesn't
necessarily make it the right one for you. Step out of your comfort zone and
take some risks you wouldn't normally take, make mistakes, and make some time
for just you. Indulge and be a little selfish. You'll come out all the better
for it.

What Path Do You Take In Life? [X]For Guys and Gals! Pics and Lengthy Results.[X]

brought to you by Quizilla

Aww. I don't like risks you see. =D I don't even like to change the brand of the bread I buy. But the not being a leader part is a bit [...]. That means all the courses I keep going to in primary school were wasted?! AND, why are all the quizzes always saying I'm naive and easy to take advantage of?? So not true. Heh heh heh. Look at me and Sasa =)

BREAKING NEWS!!

Mr Lim (the one who teaches maths and plays basketball and the guitar) always tells 2/3 that 2/7 is "well behaved" (OMHYMGOSH!!!!!), "better in handing in their assignments early" (OHMYGOSHOHMYGOSHOHMYGOSH! HAS MR LIM BEEN TAKING DRUGS? WE ARE FOREVER NOT HANDING UP ASSIGNMENTS!!!!!), "punctual" (ECK!!! ECK!!! WE ARE ALWAYS STROLLING INTO CLASS WHEN MATHS BEGINS, STILL USING OUR 5 MIN BREAK!!), "quiet" (this has got to be the understatement of the year) and "attentive" (holy shit)!!!!!!

And 2/3 doesn't like him because he always praises 2/7 in class!!!!!

PEOPLE, DO YOU HEAR ME?!

No wonder the other students call us a NERD CLASS!!!!!!!!!!!!! We supposedly hand in our assignments early!!! And we are ATTENTIVE IN CLASS!!!! And quiet!!!!! Oh my God, when Sankari TOLD ME I was completely FLABBERGASTED. We are always bullying Mr Lim!!! We TALK in class all the time!!! There has NEVER been a single time when the whole class handed in assignments together!! And half the class failed maths!!!! And yet he praises us in front of his form class?!

He HAS been taking drugs.

Zhang Yaodong looks cute hanging upside down you know??? I mean, how many guys can you find who can hang upside down and look cute at the same time?? (not that I've seen many. but still)

My sis's new furniture came. She had to unplug her com and the modem T_T and thus I couldn't use the internet on my com either. It was morbidly depressing. I had to spend the whole afternoon playing Pinball and Hearts. And my sis kept playing Minesweeper and I had to watch her. In short, I played every single available game on my com. DO NOT TAKE THE INTERNET FOR GRANTED!!!

And I had to watch Zhen Qing. Zhen Qing T_T (who even cares about Siqin and Tianfu. And Runhao and the Gao Shan Qing are like so. Spare me)

Then it was the Affairs of the Heart charity show yeah? I swear this is like the 5th charity show this year. No wonder even Vincent Ng was confused in like the President's Star Charity a few months ago. After his stunt, he asked everyone to support the NKF patients. *shrugs* Le Yao, Sharon Au and Dai Qianyun are just plain freaky. If I had to do something like that, my joints would not stretch and bend over like theirs did, but simply break.

So sad. Some people have to pia homework already *smiles sweetly*

We can only get the results of our classes on 30th Dec. That's so unfair. First they tell us christmas, then after christmas, then they say it's on 30th Dec. Bleargh. x( The most likely classes I'll be in are 3/1 and 3/4. Because I figure the triple sci classes will be the last 3, and this new bio and chem combi will either be the first class (3/1), or be after the phy and chem combi (3/4). I don't want to be in either 3/1 or 3/4. 3/4 means next year it'll be 4/4. i don't like my classes to have repeated numbers!!

There is also the slight possibility that chem and bio will be the last class (hence, 3/7 ^^). But, i don't think so. Sigh.

MY PARENTS UNPLUGGED THE TV BECAUSE THEY ARE REPAINTING THE HOUSE!!!!!!!!

Both the TVS!!!!!!!!

How am I supposed to LIVE? NO TV ON XMAS. That's CRAP. That's CRIMINAL!!!

Plus, my parents are repainting the house white. And they don't even bother to tell me which parts are the wet ones. So guess who became frosty the snowman? And who is even bothered by all the white paint since its a white christmas anyway?

Heck I can't watch TV T____________________T

Merry Christmas. Anyway.

Went to Nicky's house yesterday to watch Resident Evil: Apocalypse =) Jia supplied the DVD (pirated O.O). The movie had totally CRAPPY english subtitles (though of course the movie is in english). Probably those Malaysians don't have too good a grasp of english, yeah? There was stuff like "you fuck what" (everytime the people asked "who are you?") and then "my mama you" or something like that everytime they said "shit". It was so damn funny that we were laughing throughout the movie.

After the movie, we played Twister. So. Vulgar -_________-'' Hands under, ahem, private parts, butts in people's faces, etc.. We finally stopped because we didn't want to break anyone's limbs, and then attempted Uno Attack, but the battery was too weak, and so we sent Marcus (Nicky's lil bro =D) around to scout for batteries, but we couldn't find the correct ones, thus we had to abandon the idea. Erm, then we... played PS2 after that =) At first we actually played Who Wants to be a Millionaire. [...] It was so. spastic. Then we advanced to the X Men fighting game. Something like Sreet Fighter. (To Wenwen: Cyclops better than Wolfie!!!) One of the controllers was screwed, and only like the X and square button could work, and we took turns with the good and bad ones. I just randomly pressed the buttons, like everyone =) Unlike NICKY. Who kept scaring the rest with his special combos and moves which he'd memorised. Hmph. Toad is CUTEEEE. I kept making him LICK Wen's character. Yummy.

Then we played Worms. EEEEE SO CUTE!!!!!! =))) Everything about them was SPASTIC. Like the homing pigeon!!! Which was supposed to find its target and explode, but it flew away and dropped in the water or something!!! And there was the PROD! And Jia's worms kept falling into the water because she pressed the wrong controls.. and Nicky kept teaching the rest how to use the weapons to kill his own worms.. and Dev's worm (MARTYN) seemed to hover on thin air and MIRACULOUSLY all the weapons used on MARTYN did not manage to make him fall into the water. Wenwen on the other hand kept wasting Nicky's turn because she kept pressing buttons accidentally as she was passing the controller to him and so had to sacrifice her own worms to appease Nicky.. I didn't play because I didn't know how to and only 4 people could play in one game. So I was happily laughing at them while they played. Boo =)

Then we sent Dev off but ate dinner at Nicky's house. NICKY'S HOUSE'S DINNERS ARE ALL VERY DELICIOUS T_T I love Nicky's house =) I love Nicky's maid!!

Now that I'm used to my contacts, I think I like taking them out more than putting them in ^_^ When I pinch out the contacts with my thumb and index, there is this satisfying feel as the lense separates from the eyeball! Doesn't anyone feel the same?? =DDD

I received my first christmas card today -_________-'' I didn't even open it and I felt guilty already -_______________-'' AND IT WAS GRACE!! DARLING GRACE!! =*( I feel so guilty!!!! *whispers* because I'm not going to be sending her a card. or to anyone else to that matter. Don't tell anyone I said that!!!

We collected our car on Friday. It's a bright yellow Hyundai Getz =) The yellow gets nice after a while. It also makes things a lot easier when you want to locate the car. Plus, it's totally a unique colour on the road. Nobody else's but ours is yellow in like a 5km-radius. So fun, no need to walk and take MRT when we want to go elsewhere.

Yesterday went to NTU via car so my sis could familiarise herself with the way from Yishun back to her hostel. NTU is so O.O big. The halls were so darn cool. I want to stay there too!! Then we went to Jurong Point to. haha. do my contacts.

See, they tell me my eye's flatter than the average person's. Which totally explains why I had such a hard time taking the lenses OUT of my eyes. I looked at the salesgirl's pupils while she demonstrated taking the lenses out, and it seemed so... big. Protruding. She could just take it out with her forefinger and thumb pinching it so simply. Me, I spent like 30 mins to put in and take out for both eyes. My eyes were so bloodshot after that... I'm going to get my lenses on Mon or Tue I think. NOT looking very forward to it.

I couldn't find Teen Idol at the Popular in Jurong Point either. [...] Screw Popular. I did, instead, get another Meg Cabot book, newly released, Every Boy's Got One. IT'S SO NICE!!!!!!!!! Finished it today morning (as expected). MEG RAWKS!!!!!!! =)

If I could only find Teen Idol T_T

I'm back from my netball camp! It was so exhausting but fun =) I'll first give a short summary of the day at Kallang Netball Centre on Sunday. It was raining almost the whole day. The B Div got 4th for the Under 17 category and the C Div got 3rd for the Under 14 category. That's good you know! I hurt my ankle again. Swelled like a ping pong ball. We also saw professional men netball. Zenith Vs SIA (i was wondering why anyone would want to call themselves Sia, but whatever). The guys (well, being GUYS) leaped amazing heights. Because they have big hands or something, they carried the netball like it was a mini-basketball. Liew told me whoever won would represent Singapore in the Asian finals or something. Like, they have competitions for men netball. This is so weird.

On Monday, we met up at 7am and were divided into 3 groups. My group consisted of Jody, Mas, Zijun, Yu Hui, Elia and Lysa (Jody wasn't there cuz of chalet). Called ourselves Siren and then proceeded to design our flag.

Then had netball prac, then had lunch and team building activities. We played the bench game Melvin and the rest of the peer leaders played with 1/7 last year. I think we all need to slim down because it felt like everyone's bellies had expanded.. didn't do too well for it because we were not supposed to talk to communicate and we had to arrange ourselves according to the months of our birthdays, and Syafiqah was clapping her hands behind me so desparately but no one seemed to hear her -______-'' And everyone would pretend to hide their mouths and whisper instructions anyway and the seniors would shoot at us with water guns. In the end the seniors (or our facilitators) deemed us a disgrace and said we would try another day. haha. After that we played the ping pong ball game the 6A people had played before at Linlin's house in 02, remember? I got rather pro at scooping up the ball from the water (hoho) and the passing of the ball was rather successful until the end where we had to shoot the ball into the bucket.. goddamn ball was shot in successfully and then bounced out -_____-'' Then transferred Polo sweets from one toothpick to another held in each other's mouths. Siren could have got 2nd for that round! Problem was when I transferred the sweet from my toothpick to Elia, the toothpick got stuck to her toothpick together with the sweet and she totally flipped and spat the thing out. [...] so we had to restart and lost lor. =( Then we had to transfer one bucket of water to the other using only what we had on us. So everyone used their shoes. My shoes STINK (from the damn rain on Sunday) and apparently a lot of people's shoes were dirty because the water we carried over using our shoes turned grey-ish -__________-'' EwWw. Then we had 8-legged race. That one we could have won. BUT, on the last lap, the leg bonding Elia's leg to someone else TORE. Not the knot but the stupid cloth. Lousy cloth cost us our win!! So sad =(

Returned to AVT and made little bib cushions for the Sec 4 seniors.

We then had a treasure hunt at AMK park. It was so damn fun even though we had to run like half the time. Elia's eyes were so sharp and somehow Zijun had amazing instinct. We, however, arrived moments after the first team had arrived and the first team found the treasure while we were still searching. Oh well. Then after that played the Princess and the Knights. The Knights have to protect the Princess from getting wet and at the same time attack the other princesses to get THEM wet, and the dryest Princess wins. We sent Mas because she lost the scissors-paper-stone with Yu Hui. Haha. First we had to squat and duck walk to get our water balloons with our mouths and it was damn disgusting. There were so many damn insects in the grass which I spotted when I bent to pick the bag up with my teeth. Mas turned out to be the dryest princess so we won. Haha =) After that the facilitators attacked us with water bombs............ ok, I cleverly ^^ ran to the side and watched many of my team mates 'drown'.

After that, trudged back to school. Everyone was so damn tired. The thought that the next day I would have to wake up at 6am again made me want to cry T_T

Ok Tuesday we met up at 7am again. Took the chartered bus to East Coast. It was so ejoyable. We were forced to jog along the beach first [...] but then later we had our own free time. Angelyn, Jin Ning and I went to sit on the rocks and let the waves wash over our legs. Fully relaxing. Went to Mc to eat hashbrowns *drools* MCDONALD'S HASBROWNS RAWK RAWK RAWK! They are the BEST hashbrowns I have ever eaten. They are also the most expensive hashbrowns I have ever eaten T_T

Had lunch and many of the Sec 1s couldn't finish -______-'' Perfectly good food!!!! Then returned to school for the mental skills thingy. My God, half of us were sleeping there. I was actually listening. My brain was partially sleeping but I was also listening.. that was the first time I'd ever trooped around the hall in my slippers =) So comfortable.

Watched netball matches on tape. Saw a seemingly 20 year younger Mr Liew running around the court umpiring. The Australian people are tres powerful. Then after that we had to come up with a performance for the Sec 4s. That was one of the not-so-enjoyable moments. I HATE coming up with ideas for performances. Honest. Came up with some cross channel performance in 30mins or something. Then had dinner and went home, not too tired and overjoyed that the next day I would need wake up at only 7pm..

On Wednesday we had basketball matches. Poor Elia hurt her knee again. I agree with Nadhirah that too big a fuss was made over the injury.. I think the condition was aggravated but it will heal itself. Like my ankle. They even got her a wheelchair. And called her parents.

After the matches we played the bench game again. More successful. JODY AND ANNA KEPT PULLING AT MY SHIRT to prevent themselves from falling off!!!!!! T_T Jody especially had a death grip on my PE shirt.. we also played this bodyparts game. Nadhirah would say out the no. of bodyparts (like 3 knees, 3 heads and 3 hands) that could be placed on the floor and the rest must be off the ground. It was fun. Siren completed the first task in like 2 mins. We stood on each other's shoes! Then the seocnd one was more diff but we also completed it fastest =) Mas sat on Jody's and her own hands. Lol.

Then we had training. Oh God. Everyone was like dead and dehydrated because of the sun and the tiring activities we had previously.. I could practically feel the moisture being sucked out of me. After practice (finally), Angelyn, Xue Ling and I had fun practising our shots!! It was so fun when i shot in a few long distance ones =) Then we rehearsed our performance again, and then welcomed the seniors back. It was at 8+ when we finally started eating~ So hungry. Mini-buffet lah. Took damn long for dismissal. Had to walk back alone =(

Ok am damn sian of blogging so I'll stop here. I think the seniors really did a great job with this camp and put a lot of effort into organising the activities. Especially the treasure hunt! Thanks to all =)

Back from the chalet people. It was fun, but not as fun as I'd expected it to be!

Monday

Lugged this horribly big bag (or so I thought) to Aljunied where Wen, Lijie, Weiwei, Polly, Jenna and Xinyi were waiting for me. That bag created major trouble for me, I tell you. I had nowhere to put it on the mrt! I stood leaning against the glass partitions just inside of the doors, and I had to set my bag on the floor, and everyone entering the compartment had to avoid tripping over it. Feeling embarrassed, I squashed it in sideways and stood with one leg over it. But that's not the point. Anyway, the rest of us boarded another train to Pasir Ris, where we met Jia. Then went to White Sands's NTUC to get food supplies. At around 3+ everyone was finally gathered. Major hoo-ha in getting to Aloha Loyang, but we got there in the end after some walking in the rain. I was leading with Jeremy and Dev whining about when we were going to get there somewhere behind me.. God, the girls weren't even making noise. And Jeremy was the only one with an umbrella. When we saw the Aloha Loyang plaque, it was like seeing God. We figured out where the house was. Terrace 2. Get this: Terrace 2 is called Banyan Tree. Where all the pontianaks live. Other houses had names like Desert Rose, and we had a lousy place named after trees which house pontianaks.

The house was nice. The structure a bit weird, but nice. 4 rooms. The guys fought over the rooms with us, but after we fed them reason, they let us have 3 while they took 1. Slacked in the house doing nothing while we waited for the damn rain to stop so we could barbecue. Divek looked completely pro as he started the fire with Dev. ^^ We were rather apprehensive of the sotong balls Jeremy cooked.. I forced him to eat one before I dared to eat. Although I think Yixuan would rather starve than to eat them. No satay! =( We had prawns, chicken wings, sotong, sotong balls, hot dogs, crabsticks and STINGRAY. Made a hell lot of noise. I think our neighbours (all families on a nice holiday) were royally pissed. Lijie was telling us how her future husband must know how to pluck the shell off prawns to feed her, because she didn't like (or didn't know) how to. It was ironic how a moment later, Leroy went all sweetly, Lijie, ni hen mei, bang wo ba xia hao bu hao? Lol. Did some clearing up at around 9+.

Went bowling! =) I misunderstood Divek and thought he knew how to short cut through Pasir Ris Park to Pasir Ris Bowling Alley. Actually, he was telling me he knew how to get to Pasir Ris Park. [...] The end result was us hopelessly lost in Pasir Ris Park. Since Jia the direction pro was back at the house washing the toilet and would join us later with Shikin, Yixuan called her bf for directions. Thank God she had a bf living in Pasir Ris though, or else we would have been eaten up by the trees or something (Qid and Lysa seemed to be convinced about this because they kept shrieking behind me...). We saw this group of naked (ok, topless) men playing soccer in a dimly-lit area of the park. They are fat. Like, why do people do that!? Keep your shirts on! It's so indecent exposure -________-'' Now you see why there are so many people with schizophrenia or rapists or stranglers. Childhood trauma.

Bowling was fun!!! But my thumb was too fat =( It got stuck in the bowling ball a few times.. I strike-d twice in a game! Ahaha. Then the second one was crap. All gutter. -_________-'' So ta ma de pai seh. Adlin was so cute!! She was like BINNY. The way she threw the ball. She experimented a few times lah. Even rolling it between her legs! So vulgar. ^^ Left at around 1am? Walked back to Aloha Loyang in the rain, as usual. We were singing songs. Xiao Wei and Qing Fei De Yi, although Sasa was going Gei Wo Yi Ge Wen, or something. It sounded like we were drunk. Then somewhere on the journey, my slipper strap snapped. So I had to walk home in Sasa's slipper (which she kindly lent me) while she wore my slipper. We were like this huge group of teenage drunkards going to slam into some car.

Showered. The spray was pathetic. Most of us lay in bed after showers wondering how the 8 of us were going to fit on the bed. There were cheerful volunteers for the floor, but after testing it out no one was that cheerful anymore. I shall upload a photo of how the 5 of us looked when I get the digicam back from my dad. It was a compromising position, which I can only attribute to intimacy. After some time, everyone but the malay girls and Lijie, Xinyi, Yixuan, Weiwei and I went to the beach. The 4 (Yixuan slept!! So envious!!) of us lay in bed and complained about Lijie being noisy. Lol. ^^ We talked a lot, until the others came back.. Then we tried to sleep. At first it was Weiwei lying on the edge of the bed, but then it became me. I was so damn cold -________-'' even after borrowing Xinyi's towel to drape over me. Then Sasa and the rest came up and tried to cover us in that stinky blue blanket provided, but my legs kept sticking out (not my fault that I'm taller!!). I think I must have dozed off for an hr or so, because when I woke up it was 7+/8+am.

Tuesday

Ate BREAD. Well, went to Escape. The stupid bus driver of the shuttle bus told us the rest of the seats were reserved, and half the class couldn't get on. So we all got down and walked through PRP again. Escape rocks!! Had a lot of fun, even though I'd already been there 5 times (6 now). We went on the Pirate Ship first. Sat at the highest on the right!! Coolness! Poor Yixuan banged the lower part of her arm =( There's this new ride, the Flipper.. double coolness!! Weeee so fun!!! The Rainbow was fun but painful.. because of Lijie.. who insisted on slamming into me.. Rainbow was tres fun too =D But Alpha 8 and Cadbury Inverter were closed for maintenance!! WHY!! WHY!!?? It was so sad =*( We went on all the rides except the kiddy plane one (too malu). The family coaster was fun too, but painful. Nicky went nuts on the coaster and threw up his hands and tossed his head. It was so NC-16. All the parents and kids were staring. The guy in charge of the Pepsi Rev flirted with Yiling. GAWD!! Before he snapped the safety bar down for them, he rocked the cabin, grinning, and Yiling and Ruru were all, hey, lol, and he was grinning more, and then shut the bar, and then rocked the bar again... all the while grinning at Yiling.. Gawd.. *shudder* But he had nice legs.

There was a slight rain all the time.. We left at around 2pm for lunch at KFC. So, so, so tired. Returned to the chalet afterall. Slacked the whole day. Lijie and the rest 'banned' me from the bed just because I went down to visit the malay girls and heard about Adlin's bra dropping out of the bag.. The 4 of them had taken up the whole bed!! =( Then we went to the beach where I stepped in oil. [...] I couldn't find seaweed lah. And the water was so yuck. Completely ruined the bathroom attached to the living room when we returned. It was so full of sand. The whole house was filled with sand, esp the living room. Damn gao wei -/-'' Sent Jia and the rest out on bikes to get us dinner. Came back with maggi mee. Wei, Xinyi and I cooked for the rest and Jeremy and Jin Jun were so damn unappreciative. "The girls dunno how to cook maggi mee!" and some other crap about how it was too hard *rolls eyes* Jin Jun was giving me such crap and I was going mentally "then cook yourself lah, rely on us girls who don't know anything about the art of cooking maggi mee". The thing I hate most is when people don't appreciate the effort you put in lor. It's like you slave the entire afternoon over an image or something and then when you show it to the person you're slaving for, they're all "it's not nice". AHHH!

Anyway, we were washing plates for the class and cooking the damn wings in the microwave for them and watching Xi Lin Men and PCK and Living with Lydia and Ye Man Qin Jia. Synny was sititng behind me while watching PCK, and when Brandy appeared dressed in that strappy tube and miniskirt, he JUMPED out of his seat and WOAH HOT at her. I was. So. Creeped out. Then he rushed into the empty kitchen, for what I don't know. [...] Don't even think about that. After everything was over, I went up to bathe. The spray was even more pathetic that day; it was like rubbing myself with a feather. When we had all showered, we took pictures of our eyes, noses, lips and eyebrows using Lijie's phone. And then identified them. I couldn't tell which were my lips. =(

Guess what, I couldn't sleep either! No, I got up a few times to scream at Nicky and the rest to shuddup because they were screaming so loudly. I lay in bed for what seemed like an eternity. But I guess I finally drifted off at around 6 or 7 because I woke at 8+.

Wednesday

Everyone was still asleep or something. Wen and I went to check out food supplies. Pathetic. We decided everyone could only eat 1 slice of bread and put peanut butter on only one folded side.
Ended up watching Barney with Divek and the rest. Barney was learning how to count to 7! *rolls eyes* Even though we'd gotten up so early, we couldn't check out in time.. There were 5 bottles of rose syrup in the damn fridge -.= I forced some of them to finish one bottle, and there were 4 left. Goddamn it, I was so adamant about not wasting food I carried 2 bottles home myself. it sucked. What sucked even more was Jin Jun that IDIOT had forgotten to being his school shoes home (and at that time he was sitting on a flight to KL). I had to bring his stinking shoes home. ME. I put them in my BAG. Royally pissed at him man. AND HE STILL HASN'T PAID ME FOR THE DAMN CHALET. Here is a list of those who owe me debts:

Jia
Sasa
JIN JUN
Dev (have you paid?? I don't remember but I think you did)
Divek (no you haven't paid.)
Sonia (+$11)
Faris (+$11)
Gang Quan (+$11)
Maryam (+$11)
Wei Mun (+$6.70)

I think that's all.

Back to the chalet. So we left the house le. Sad because the chalet was over just like that. Sadder because I had to carry so much crap with me through the sun (WHY COULDN'T IT HAVE BEEN SUNNY PREVIOUSLY) through PRP. Reached home finally (with 2 extra extra bottles of rose syrup) at 12. Read some of Divided in Death. Thought of taking a little nap of 2 hrs, then get lunch. Turned out lunch was redundant because I slept through it and woke up at 6pm.

I can't believe tomorrow I have to wake at 5am. I am. SO. NerVoUs.

We have a car!!!!!!!

Yesterday we bought a car!!!!!!!!!!

Eh, serious leh. You know, those vehicles which ferry people on the road. Yah. Ours is a Hyundai Getz. Not too big lah, but my mom says it's for better control. It's bright yellow. Car salesman talks like Mr Liew (completely and totally).

My God, we've got a car!!!! We'll probably get it on 20th Dec. If COE bid is successful. My mom is very excited about this car because it's all she's been talking about since yesterday. I can hardly contain my glee. After netball, all I need to do is to sink into the leather seats and let my mom drive me home. No. More. Walking. YIPPEE!

Occasionally I shall be driven to school =) No more waking up at 6am and then trudging wearily to the MRT station to board the train and then trudging wearily to school for 10 mins. I can, like, NAP in the car. MY GOD!!!!

Oh, rejoice.

Tomorrow is da CHALET. I'm dreading it coming. Because when it comes, it ends. It ends 2 whole years of class spirit. Ahhhhhh. I can't wait for tomorrow! I shall be sure to blog about every single thing when I come back.

Oh yes, I just remembered something. My family has been eating at the cafe in Ikea for 3 consecutive Saturdays. First Sat was to accompany sis to check out furniture for her room. Second my parents collected the vouchers at Mitsubishi, and then conveniently went to Ikea to lunch. Third was when we went to buy the car! My dad is in love with the food there I think. I enjoyed cutting the meatballs into 8 individual pieces each.

Chia Chia is such a spastic person!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Netball day camp from 13th to 15th Dec. 7am to 7pm/9pm. Know what this means? It means I have to wake up at 6am consecutively for 3 days. Waking up at that unearthly hour in the holidays (or any other time, for that matter) is absolutely CRIMINAL. It is beyond me. I now wake up at 11am everyday due to sleeping only at 2am in the morning because I am suffering from insomnia and I toss and turn in bed 500 times in 12 minutes. I digress.

See, all members of sports CCAs in Anderson have to attend this mind skills course thingy. Supposed to develop our mental skills so we can use them while we're playing. [...] Anyway, our instructor is called Nance Peters. The bio the paper had introduced her having a cert in sports psychology or something, the works. Image induced was some tall foreign woman with deep, strong voice and very authorative. Real person was this woman who looks quite old, has big fluffy light brown/gold hair, wearing huge specs and pants high up her waist, and who spoke like your grandmother. Hard to take her too seriously actually. Which was why most of the people in the hall (gee, our school damn budget, won't even give us air con for 2 hrs) were talking among themselves as she asked for volunteers to tell her about the senses we need when we play. Taste is supposedly needed ("the taste of sweat"), but I dun geddit. We also had a 15-page questionaire to fill up. The questions, while thought-inducing in the first place, started to get irritating after the 6th page. I think they're gonna do a mini-analysis of us.

God I'm too tired to type anymore (my right arm ACHES like hell). CHALET IN 2 DAYS! YES!

TAUFIK YOU DA MAN!!!! WOOT WOOT!!!!!!!

Anyway, as everyone knows, today was the SI finale. Man, I didn't know it was so hyped up. Red carpet, live reporting, even Prez Nathan (must milk it for all it's worth, this being one of the biggest event of the year eh).

It's a really good thing Taufik won. I swear I would have lost faith in the Singapore music industry if Sly did. Or banged my head against the wall. No offense to Sly fans and all, but he totally ruined It's My Life and An Jing. It was totally scream-your-head-off-who-cares-bout-pitching when he sang It's My Life. The song's supposed to be really rocking and all, but he screamed his way through it. It was so awful that when they recapped it I cringed and hid my face.

And An Jing. My God. An Jing is a simple, simple song with a simple, simple tune. It's a simple, nice and pleasant song to sing. Sly tried to make it more his style, and so made a couple of changes to the crooning parts and all, and in doing it he made the song more complicated... and An Jing complicated is An Jing gone wrong. Ru ru, you should know!!! It's a tad disgraceful for Jay man.

Actually Taufik and Sly should form a pop duo. Their voices complement each other's very nicely. Taufik handling the higher notes and Sly the lower ones. When they sang The Reason, it was absolutely fab. Oh, and I simply LOVED That's What Friends Are For. It was awfully touching. Great they're releasing it on Taufik's album. I didn't even realise how much I missed the rest of the SI finalists until they appeared tonight. They've wormed their ways into our lives unknowingly! And the medley they sang was beautiful. All the SI girls rock!!!! ^______^

And by the way, DICK LEE IS SO CUTE! Not hunk-cute, just cute-cute. Everytime after a performance, you can totally tell whether he likes it or not by that big silly grin on his face!! If there's grin, he likes it very much!! If there's no grin then oh no no. But the bigggg grin is so cute!! It's like he's a 5 year old begging for sweets and then he finally gets them and it's that big satisfied grin-y grin!! Ah! =D

Poor Beverly. Just because she got a little over-emotional on national TV, people are gonna remember her as the Girl Who Cried A Lot. Can it with the crybaby digs already -____-'' I like Beverly! She sings tres well! Hoho! Maia!!! Oooh I LOVE Maia!!!! Maia rawks!!!! And to that weirdo single mother who told 8 Days Maia "flaunts her single motherhood", well, boo to you. She doesn't FLAUNT it! She's open with it! She's ok with letting people know she's a single mother! Have more ice water!
