Hello, currently I have at least 5 copies of my speech lying around the house, each with more edits than the previous, and I am printing out a 6th copy which is the final version, but the stupid printer wthat is extremely prone to fucking paper jams has just told me that thanks to its penchant for swallowing paper the wrong way, it is jammed. This time it managed to pull in the entire sheet of paper and squash it all up inside the printer, just before it's supposed to slide smoothly under the printing part and glide out all nice and smooth. I wrenched it free from its teeth and tore the paper in the process. I then proceeded to throw the ruined sheet of white paper away. I wasted one sheet of paper today. Please forgive my sin.

Help. I'm asking! Who would like to help me to conclude my speech??! Please? Just read my speech and give me some suggestions for a conclusion? TAG! ME!

Firstly, I was not online for the past 9 days and that is why I couldn't blog :) Not because I was lazy! But because I didn't come online. So there.

Oh God, my keyboard almost feels foreign. I actually have to fumble over keys to get the alphabets I want. Poor baby.

So anyway, I'm feeling rather shitty about the PESA 2006 thing on 26th June. I really, really, really do not want to make an impromptu speech in front of judges AND students alike (it is the students part that is embarrassing, some of them could be CUTE and ALL of them I want to impress, but sadly when I get up there chances are I'd freeze, or blabber something incoherent). Ms Heng, I mean Mrs Yeo (Eileen Chia got married on 6 June! Hooray for Mrs Dan) wants me to present it to her next Tuesday, when we go back for Lit remedial and she gives us an Unseen test to do. =x I haven't started memorizing it, or doing anything to it. So I'm supposed to do it today, you know, but yah. You understand.

And to give the brief rundown of my life!

I lost my wallet last Wednesday, containing my ez-link card, $15, my Anderson library card, many movie ticket stubs, some other odds and ends and lastly, TWO seminar tickets, one, belonging to me for the English Language Seminar on 12 June, and one, belonging to DEV (oh no), for The English Teacher Seminar on 14 June. I had no idea how I lost it, it seemed to just VANISH when I looked for it on Friday (Thursday passed without me needing to use it). I thought it might have slipped out from my bag pocket. So after a lot of grief from my mom and tears from me, I went out on Saturday with Kum Boon to make a new ez-link card, and it cost bloody hell $19. Then I went home, and at night, my mom was sweeping the floor when she found my already-very-dirty wallet under HER bed.

Well. I have no idea how it ended up there, really. Because when I get home, the first thing I do is to place my bag on my study table right next to the doorway. I didn't touch it, and the stuff inside, from then on. Until Friday lah. So I have no idea how it ended up under a bed. But at least my mom was proven WRONG. She'd been telling everyone who would listen that I'd lost thirty over dollars, when I clearly stated that there was FIFTEEN, and that my ez-link card had only, like, two three bucks left. No, she had to blow things up and be like, she just topped up her card. Oooh, I think she just lost four thousand dollars. And finding the wallet proved every single fucking accusation she made about me not knowing how to take care of my things yada yada yada wrong too.

So anyway, before I found the wallet, on Friday I called the Singapore Teachers Union (number helpfully supplied by Jia) and asked them about my lost tickets. The lady there was simply, just go. And tell the guy there that you've lost your ticket. I'm like, *jaw drops*. It's a twenty-five dollar seminar! And they're so lax about the entrance fee??

Well, on 12 June I went for the EL Seminar, and it was quite crappy. The first part was devoted to Paper 1, and the British guy was just plain boring. The second part was so much more interesting, presented by another Brit. He was hilarious. Very engaging. So much better than his previous counterpart. Shame on you, Mr Boring Brit. I wish he was my English teacher. I went for the TET Seminar on 14 June too, even though I clearly had not bought a ticket. Instead, I simply told the lady at the entrance that I'd lost my ticket, and she looked quite amused and went, Don't worry, you're not paying to watch X-Men, and I went in and found a seat. :D

Hmm. Thankfully I didn't pay another twenty-five bucks for the TET seminar. It wasn't very worth it. I was quite lost most of the time, bending my head to scribble notes, and the person on stage would just spout philosophically-sounding things from his mouth at the speed of an MRT and I didn't catch quite a lot of stuff. It was still rather insightful and all, but I'm very ashamed at the fact that some students from my dear country are stupid and ask very stupid questions.

Both times after the seminars we went to troll Orchard Road. After the EL Seminar the soles of my feet were in pain because the soles of my flats were murderous. On the day of the TET Seminar I forgo-ed beauty for comfort (or so I thought) and slipped into my mom's red, erm, footwear. It's really like a pair of flats with an elevated 2 inch sole and the sole was very comfy. However by the time I'd gotten into the Singapore Power Auditorium and plonked down on a seat and eased my feet out of those horrible things, the spaces between my big toes and second toe were killing me. I'd gotten a blister on the area on my right foot, and it was, bloody hell, torn. I got a plaster from Wei Ching (who was wearing absolutely adorable velvet black pumps which made her feet look tiny) and tapped it over the torn blister, but it still hurt, and my other foot was hurting too, so we went to Wisma Atria and got a box of Watsons' plasters. It was $1.35 and very good value for money because there were 25 plasters inside and 5 types of plasters. Big squarish ones, small squarish ones, big rectangular ones, small rectangular ones, and roundish ones. I pasted a big rectangularish one over the intersection of my left big toe and left second toe, and grinned and bore it till Long Johns' at Far East Plaza, where we stopped for a late lunch. After I'd finished my meal, I took out the box of plasters and proceeded to tape up my foot with a grand total of 5 more plasters. I used plasters to cushion my sole so it wouldn't grind against the sole of the shoes and make me feel like it was falling off. And I touched up on the bandages already present. However, the plasters were indeed very sticky and everytime I lifted my toes from the shoes there was a sound like scotch-tape tearing.

I think I'll have to go do some homework now (oh yeah, forgot to mention just how dead I am), so tata for now :)

Phew. Ok I sneaked online to blog and am totally abandoning homework-ship. But whatever.

Monday. Watched X3 with Amy and Jin Ning at Causeway Point. All I can say is... Totally disappointing =x It wasn't lousy, don't get me wrong. It just wasn't spectacular. The movie was exciting, with uber cool special effects and lots of explosions and shooting and deaths, but I wasn't there for the many explosions and dead people, I was there for a nice, satisfying conclusion to the X-Men trilogy that would round up all loose ends. Unfortunately, there was so little of an actual plot and script, and way too little characterization. It kinda made the same mistake as HP4, with too many characters and not enough time to fully develop them I guess. Angel has such a HUGE poster and he has about 10 minutes of screentime (ooh, but those abs, baby)! Also, all Jean did was to float around and look really, really, really constipated :( With her face turning blue and veins popping. Poor girl.

HAHA AND! Lots and lots of cheesy soundbites. To list a few -

"If you're with us then be with us" Storm
"But that's what we all want.
No, that's what YOU want" Warren's dad, Warren
"No. No, they can't heal us, because there's nothing wrong with us in the first place" Storm

Also, Scott Summers (look, James Marsden is cute okay, someone give him more movies already) died 10 minutes into the movie. Enough said.

And yes, I stayed for that itsy 5-second clip after all the credits rolled. X4? Who knows? BUT CYCLOPS IS DEAD, GAH KILL ME

Tuesday. Back to school. Hmm, school. Boring. Maths. Ew. Dismissal. What did I do after school? Oh yes, I went back to Causeway Point to get the nice pink shirt at Metro which I saw on Monday, together with Jin Ning, and we had a lovely time trolling all the shops in there. We drifted into the gown section where there were gowns going for NINETEEN FREAKING DOLLARS AND NINTEY CENTS (I love the GSS). Hmm. I made Jin Ning try one on regardless of all the less-than-encouraging looks from the salespeople, and she got quite intimidated as she neared the dressing room, but in the end I just shoved her in and slammed the door before she lost her nerve totally. Hahaha.

Ok this is boring. What did I do on Wednesday? Oh, I was late for school. I woke up at 7am like I was supposed to, thanks to my handphone alarm, then promptly went back to sleep. When I next woke up I felt unusually awake, refreshed, rejuvenated, something I wasn't supposed to be feeling because I'd never once felt like this when I woke up for school, so with a sickening feeling in my heart I checked my handphone and brilliant! 7.55am. I was so dead.

I was out of the house by 8.03am (don't ask. Really). I reached the MRT station and tried desperately to hail a taxi. Ok, lie, I waited in line behind half a dozen people at the taxi stand and desperately waited for a taxi. If I got one then I would get to school about 5 minutes late, and it was alright because lessons never start on time anyway, but unfortunately it took almost 20 minutes for me to make it to the front of the line and get a taxi. By the time I reached school, 8 dollars poorer (there was an additional $1 surcharge for peak hours, and I was stuck in a minor jam on the way there, but fuck! fuck! 8 dollars from Yishun to AMK! I'll be damned!), it was 8.45am already lah. Thankfully it was HMT, and Eric Tay is nice, so he let it slide. If it were Mr Wong, I am so sure I'd have had recieved some delightfully scorching and sarcastic remark from him...

Wednesday was boring. Can't remember what I did after school. Think I went home and Simmed. Yeah. Gosh, what a life.

Thursday! I watched SHE'S THE MAN after school with Kel, Oi Man and G (I'm really using her nick because I can't spell her name, she's Kel and Oi Man's friend). We went to Plaza Singapura as the movie was only screening at 4 cinemas islandwide - the Cathay cinemas, GV Tampines and GV Plaza. Blah. Such a good movie, they're not doing it justice! But I'll get to it. So we made our way to Plaza Sing, and G and I went to get tickets while Kel and Oi Man got snacks. Thing is, the lines at the ticketing booths were atrociously long. And (as usual, I REALLY dunno how come this always happens to movies I'm seeing) tickets to the 2.10 screening of SHE'S THE MAN were selling fast T_T G started saying loudly, "I REALLY DON'T WANT TO WATCH SHE'S THE MAN, IT'S SO LAME (actually I don't think she used the word lame. G doesn't look like anyone who uses lame. But something along these lines lah)!" And I'm staring at her quizzically, wondering if Kel'd made some kind of a mistake inviting her along, and she goes, "HEY, I HEARD BENCHWARMERS WAS REALLY GOOD!" Then I caught on (slow, I know, but at least I caught on) and shouted, "YEAH, I HEARD IT'S REALLY... *searches desperately for adjective* FUNNY!" And we were standing there trying to psycho people out of watching She's The Man by heaping praise about Benchwarmers. Hahaha it was very amusing!

Then G realised Kel had NETS! And we could get our tickets at those machines where you pay by NETS or Cashcard and they spit the tickets out! So excitedly, we left the line. BIGG mistake. When we got to the machine, we were happily informed that ticket booking for She's The Man was NOT AVAILABLE. Because it was too close to the showing time, I think. BLOODY HELL! The line!

We looked back at the queue, it was now maybe twice as long as it was previously. Despondent, we rejoined the line, praying that we'd somehow get to the counter in time. It was then noticed that there was a group of teenage boys in front of us, and Kel went very sweetly, "Excuse me, but what movie are you all watching?" The boy closest to us glanced over, looking slightly confused, and replied, "X Men." And Kel eagerly moved in for the kill, "Oh, could we please switch places with you? Because our movie's already started and we really need to get tickets." The boys, very graciously, agreed. We thanked them and did :) There was a mini-commotion created behind those boys when people realised that they'd let us move in front, and started asking them if they could move in front as well. We felt quite sorry for those poor boys, haha.

But it was all in vain. When we reached the counters (THE BLESSED COUNTERS!) and asked for 4 tickets to the 2.10 showing of She's The Man, the guy went, "Oh, there're only 3 seats left."

Stunned silence.

Clearly, we were short of one seat, and Kel even tried asking if we could share seats or something. We were politely refused, and dejectedly trudged away. I was so upset! I DEARLY wanted to watch it :( And it was impossible to catch another showing because Kel had tuition at 4.

Then Kel offered to cancel her tuition, the sweet girl, and I totally jumped at the chance :) We decided to switch cinemas to Cathay Cineplex. G had to call her mom to inform her of the change in location and ask for permission, and Kel squealed "Please, G's mom!" (Kel, you devious manipulator, you! xD), and G's mom totally relented because of her, G said. Haha. Anyway, we took the train to Somerset, alighted, and discovered that it was pouring outside. I thought we were doomed, then Kel and Oi Man BOTH whipped out umbrellas! Gosh, NOBODY around me carries umbrellas around anymore! Except for Chia Chia, but I don't go home with her, so I always get drenched, but BOTH of them had brollys! I could have hugged Oi Man to death :)

But the rain was really quite heavy, and my entire right side was drenched regardless of the shelter over my head. I was most protective of my Bio textbook, which is already falling apart, and will surely be unable to survive the assault of water. But while we were getting ready to cross the road to Cineleisure, the green man was already blinking and we had 8 seconds to cross, and I was mentally going Hmm, we'll have to run, when Oi Man lost her mind! I got carried away by the, erm, intensity of the moment, I think, and we both ran screaming across the road, splashing water everywhere. G and Kel were already across the road, but I think they weren't acting as pyschotic as the both of us. We earned lots and lots of stares, I tell you, and joked about how there'd be a headline in The New Paper the next day, maybe something like Crazed Schoolgirls In Orchard or whatever.

G and I got the tickets, FINALLY WE WERE HOLDING FOUR TICKETS TO SHE'S THE MAN, A SHOW WE WOULD BE LEGALLY WATCHING WITH NO NEED TO SIT ON ONE ANOTHER'S KNEES, OR SOMETHING!

We went window shopping where G got this cute pair of dangling earrings that said, what else, G. I showed everyone the syphillis bacteria :) A spirochette really just looks like a coiled up spring, lah, so we had many pairs of spirochette earrings around us :)) Heee.

Finally at 3.25pm or so we made our way into the cinema, 10 minutes late for the movie because Kel and G took a long time with the popcorn and drinks, and the movie had already started, but oh my God I'm finally watching the movie!

THE MOVIE WAS GREAT. Possibly one of the best romantic comedies I've ever seen. Honestly, GO! WATCH! IT! I'll elaborate a bit more on the storyline tomorrow because I'm getting quite sick of blogging, but I don't want to spoil the surprises either. So. Quick! Go watch it! What the hell are you still doing here?

Lingga says @#%$! at 10:26 PM

Oh my God, my sister just gave me her white Quiksilver bag! I am completely stunned and have stashed it away in case she changes her mind. FOR AGES I've been looking for a bag and she gives me one JUST LIKE THAT! And my God, I got a great haircut but more about that later.

So where was I? Oh yes, the part where I can't cycle. Random insertion here, but I really want to eat the sea coconut ice jelly now :( Yes, so I hopped onto the bike behind Wenwen and we took off! I found out that 2-seaters can't travel faster than normal bicycles. Shuling and Polly kinda forgot how to ride a bike all of a sudden, so we sort of left them behind *edges away guiltily*

I was really enjoying myself when we realized Shuling, Polly and Shunwei (who had stayed behind to help them conquer their sudden mental block, the kind soul) were being left far behind. So we stopped somewhere and waited for them. They still didn't turn up, hence Wen and I backtracked to look for them. It turned out Shuling had a leg cramp and looked quite awful, so it was decided that she couldn't cycle. It was then again decided that Shuling would take my place on the 2-seater, then Wenwen would come back for me after she dropped Shuling off where everyone else was waiting. Polly wanted to try the 2-seater so she hopped on and the 2 of them went off -.- and left Shuling, Shunwei and I behind.

Now. I actually thought I could cycle without any problems because I could balance perfectly well on the 2-seater. Anyway, truth was, I still couldn't cycle T_T I kept tilting towards one side of the bike lah, then had to hop off before my ass kissed the ground. It was very sad. I tried to learn for about 15 minutes, with Shunwei, Lijie and Huizhen trying very earnestly to help me, but gave up finally. Oh yeah, the few moments we stood still gave the bloodsuckers enough time to land and bite us. We were totally annoyed but of course, the mozzies didn't stop biting just because we less-than-liked them.

Wenwen came back with the bike and I resumed my usual seat behind her. All was smooth-sailing again :) Oh did I mention the stupid antics we did on the bike? Wen kept kicking her legs apart and thrusting her left hand, followed by her right, into the air. She stopped after it was evident my hands could reach higher up than hers. Hahaha. We were one of the first to arrive back at the rental shed, but Shunwei and Shuling still weren't back even after everyone'd returned the bikes. We waited about 5 minutes for them, but they were still non-existent, and worried, Huizhen and Wen took off to look for them, while the rest of us stayed behind and got eaten alive by mosquitoes. Honest, we were like fresh meat thrown out for the dogs. The areas around our calves were furiously attacked and, bahgawd, unbearably itchy! It was horrible, horrible, horrible. It would be totally unglam to squat and scratch desperately at our calves, so we couldn't, and instead stood around and complained and wondering if the girls had been kidnapped by squirrels, when finally we saw them! Thank goodness.

We adjorned to White Sands Mall via the holy 354. If you're at Downtown East and without a car, that bus will be the most important bus you're ever seen in your entire life, because without that bus you cannot get back to the interchange and back to civilisation. Of course, you can walk all the way back, like what 6A did once at midnight thinking there were no buses for the day, when actually there were, but who the hell wants to walk 15 minutes when they can take a bloody bus, I say, but that's so not the point and I'm digressing, and back to the holy 354, it was incredulously PACKED. We squeezed our way up and even managed to get seats. Yay us.

At White Sands, we changed tops and bottoms in the washroom. Shunwei, Wen and I got freaked out by this elderly Malay cleaning auntie, who, upon discovering the floor was wet (caused by Lijie who had washed her feet, and had already left the washroom), blew up at us, thinking that Wen was the one who had caused it because she was talking about washing her feet then. She totally unleashed a list of swear words which even included the very popular Hokkien one starting with a C and has 2 syllables. A MALAY cleaning lady! I'm awed. We were scared senseless and immediately rushed out of the washroom. Angry cleaning ladies are not to be messed with, take it from me.

We oogled the earrings at a nearby stall briefly before taking the train to Expo, where the MPH booksale and Singapore Food Festival were being held :) Oh, on the train, we tried to Bluetooth photos to each other, only for some reason the common person all our phones found was someone called XIN SUI! Like, broken heart, literally. It was creepy :) Even after we left the train, XIN SUI stayed with us! We started giggling and wondering if it was that punky looking guy in the corner or this middle-aged woman...

And, back to Expo, turned out we had absolutely no time to go to the Food Fest because most of us were completely bowled over by the propect of acquiring new, terrific reads. Oh yeah, Lijie couldn't take being surrounded by English books all around (she's totally the Chinese xiao shuo type) so Xinyi accompanied her to the Food Fest. Shunwei was practically in a trance as she methodically and systematically examined each box of paperback novels carefully, before ascertaining that there was nothing worthwhile and moving on. She was fascinating :D And a very great help for she kept recommending me books, and even sought out TWO copies of In Her Shoes by Jennifer Weiner for me when I asked her to keep a lookout for it, the one I found being rather dog-eared. Darling Wei-er has very sharp eyes.

It was close to 8 when we decided to pay for our goods (I went off looking for Shunwei, who had drifted far away and was still in a trance, and ended up buying a 6th book after she swore that it was a very good book. Haha). Wenwen spent more than $60, I think, because she said all she had at home was Enid Blyton and she was suffocating.

We contemplated eating at the food court but it was packed. Absolutely no seats to be found, and we didn't want to wait. We thus decided to go to the food court of the nearest shopping mall, which happened to be Bugis Junction. So we squeezed into a train bound for City Hall and alighted at Bugis (we met this INCREDIBLY TALL GUY ON THE TRAIN, who stood behind me, and I was only up till his chest I think), and the deer meat rice (what I'm inclined to eat at every food court, I like it so much) at the food court sucked. Half the meat was so goddamn tough. Sigh. Thinking about deer meat rice makes me want to eat deer meat rice right now :( I never seem to get tired of that...

So yes, we made our way straight home after that as it was getting quite late. However, we took the train to Marina Bay so we could get seats as it reversed back in the direction of Yishun. Lijie did awfully silly things with her N70, and took awfully silly clips of us and herself! There was one so ridiculous it was funny because it ended up with this closeup of Lijie's lips. Hahaha everyone collapsed in giggles when they saw that, universal reaction. Lijie also Bluetoothed "paparazzi" photos of Shuling to her, taken in between the many bodies separating our row of seats from theirs. I realize everything is so INSANE when Lijie is around, she's so ridiculous that we all enjoy ourselves so much trying to keep her in control :)

Yep I have to go eat dinner already. Will continue blogging soon.

Ho boy! I feel so guilty for neglecting my blog, I shall update in detail about my entire past week =D

Starting from... 27th May, Saturday!

See, that day I somehow got myself invited along to Pasir Ris Park with Wenwen, Lijie, Shunwei, Xinyi, Polly, and Huizhen and Shuling, who are from 4/7 and part of Wenwen and Lijie's spiffy gang. It was rather awkward because I didn't know them personally, plus I haven't spoken to Polly in ages, and Shunwei, Xinyi and I have been fairly distant since the start of the year. Needless to say, I wasn't exactly looking forward to it, but I went along with Wenwen to give her emotional support, and surprisingly the day turned out great :)

I met Wen at Yishun MRT first, as usual, and she was late again. It's karma I tell you. In the past it was ME who had the luxury of being late, since I stayed in Yishun anyway and always mistakenly thought I had adequate time to get to the station. But apparently I didn't thus I was always late. Now it seems that SHE has gotten it into her head that since I'm always late, she should be late too. And I'm like, oh, poor dear, shouldn't make her wait, so I'm early instead, and end up waiting 7 minutes on the platform for her train to arrive. Haha.

We were supposed to meet the rest at J8 but the 2 of us were early, so we trotted around the MRT station for a bit. I met this tiny old auntie who asked me where the bus interchange was. Intitally, I didn't know that she was asking me where the bus interchange was, because she kept gesturing to the air beyond and croaking "Bishan hou mian? Bishan hou mian?" I dunno where the heck the Bishan hou mian part came into the picture, but we sorted things out and I pointed her in the right (I hope.) direction, and she scurried off without so much as a word of thanks! I'm outraged. Everyone takes me for granted, and never thanks me! Why, just yesterday I had a similar incident ok! I shall elaborate on it later on. But back to the MRT station. While there we saw the Nong Nong Away guy from Singapore Idol! At first I thought it was just a really fat girl. Honestly. I was watching her (his) arm and thinking, if you have flabby arms then don't wear shirts with tight sleeves, lah, and then I realised the awful, garish, blonde dye job the hair had undergone looked eerily familiar! Also the tiny eyes and frameless spectacles.

Behold! It was him! He was dressed in a tight green shirt and baggy jeans and he looked like a fat girl. My honest first impressions. I think it's because of his droopy blond hair. Which is really beyond good taste, if you ask me, because it's so goddamn blonde (Singaporeans should NEVER go for a full blonde dye job. Not even an 80% blonde dye job. We just don't fit the look! We look like we're trying too hard!), and his roots, which are black, are growing out at the top of his head, so he looks... he looks... hell, just really awful.

But enough of the Nong Nong Away guy. We'll meet him again later on anyway.

Everyone arrived finally, so we trooped into J8's foodcourt for lunch. Xinyi and I both had a HUGE bowl of ban mian each, and we competed for the title of the Slowest Eater. I lost gracefully because Lijie, her and Huizhen kept talking about Guides/St. John's/something while I didn't say much and picked at my noodles.

Later on, we left and went to stand outside Popular, looking over the railings at the ground floor where the producers of Never Say Die (yong bu yan bai! The loser show show where, erm, people are given a second chance) are holding a publicity event. How exciting! We noticed the Nong Nong Away guy and 2 other Singapore Idol rejects. They appeared to be anxiously checking out the commotion below, but didn't seem to want to be noticed. I think they were there specially for the event. Maybe to see if they could get a few seconds of fame. I think they realized the whole group of us were staring at them and whispering excitedly, and so they went hurriedly into Poh Kim Video and pretended to look around. Hmm. We didn't want to ruin their day, so we left!

Onward to Pasir Ris! Ridiculously long MRT ride where Lijie obsessed over playing with a game in Huizhen's phone, which had motion sensors and had to be tilted to control the direction. When we got to the bus interchange, the skies were overcast and rain was inevitable. Our cycling plans were toast but we went to the rental shed anyway, hoping we wouldn't be so unfortunate, but we were. The rain started just as we handed the guy the money for the bikes. Disappointed, we retrieved the money, returned the bikes, and eventually ended up in the arcade.

The arcade! Thousands of miles (possible exaggeration here, but I wouldn't know, would I? Hmm) away from where we were intitally, and we end up at an arcade throwing basketballs into a hoop! Hahaha! It was absurd. We played those typical ones, like where figures shoot out of the surface and you're supposed to hit them before they retract? I don't think the inventors of the game intended for 8 people to play it though. So can't blame them even if the game wasn't very challenging. Xinyi and I were looking out for the one that lets 2 people slide a disc across the table, aiming for each other's slot, but there was only the tiny junior version. Sad.

The rain still hadn't stopped by the time we came out. It was awfully humid and the adrenaline had gotten us sweaty. We advanced to the food court for deserts. Wenwen and I shared the sea coconut ice jelly and it was yummy. I termed the sea coconut slices "sea slugs" and we had fun offering "sea slugs" to everyone. After that we took group photos with various cameras and camera phones. Lijie shuang lah, got to wave her majestic N70 around and take pictures with her lovely 2 mp camera :(

The rain stopped and we eagerly made our way back to the rental shed. Wenwen and I got our 2-seater, hahaha, because for those who still don't know, Lingga does not know how to ride a bike! Yes, indeed, she can't. She's adamant that she'll conquer it anyhow at the end of the year lah, so just shut up already and stop whispering that she has no childhood. She grew up taller than most of you anyway.

Alas! I must leave for dinner. I'll continue blogging tomorrow after I get a haircut. Hmm, 5 1/2 more days to blog about! Lovely.
