Oh my God, this is ridiculous. I'm typing this in the library using that stupid keyboard with a small backspace key while waiting for 5.30 to arrive, which is 3 hours later, so I can go for my second PAWS meeting! GAH :( I like PAWS and everything, but why?! I want to go home and enjoy some ME time! And read my Foxtrot compilation!

Jin Ning isn't released from my class yet and Sasa is sleeping outside -.-

Plus I am a really bad example to little children I didn't listen during econs lecture AGAIN. I seem to have a habit of not listening to lectures (2nd last lecture), then feeling guilty and trying to listen to make up for my misdeed (last lecture), and then feeling better about myself and ending up getting Sasa to teach me how to pronounce the french words in this play we're doing in Lit instead of paying attention (today's lecture).

OMG, I have 3 hours to kill what the hell am I supposed to do during these 3 hours? Did I alredy mention that I am stuck at the beginning of my econs and math tutorials? I'm planning on leaving that for the weekend so I can have all the time I want in the world to puzzle it out. It's got nothing to do with the fact that I just feel like slacking off most of the time nowadays.

Three hours three hours, what shall I do during these three hours? =x=x The monitors in the computer room in the library are all facing in one direction, so anyone can look over the tops of their monitors and peek at whatever is on the screen of the persons in front of them. The girl in front of me is all studiously poring over the wordy-looking webpage on her screen and I think the girl and guy behind me are working on a project. Yet I am blogging -.- It seems almost offensive in this face of seriousness. AH the monitor next to me has just been occupied by this guy who has opened his webpage to the... *peeks* VJC iSay forum? Um, how totallly weird, but perhaps he is one of its founding members.

I don't dare to entertain the notion of watching vids on youtube for fear of being scorned at for my shallowness :(

Um yesterday was VJC cross country, and we ran the same dull boring uninteresting 3.2km route from school to East Coast Park, which I have run a grand total of 6 times before the actual thing, once every 70 minute PE lesson and twice during trainings. I kinda ended up walking almost the whole length of it. Heh. Because I was "running" with Naomi and Xingyun and they kinda didn't want to run and I kinda didn't feel like running alone so we kinda ended up walking together :D Good what, never tire myself out. But it was quite embarrassing to come in in the 755th position lol. Oh we my only other excuse is that we started out late as well! A whole grop of us was sitting in the canteen, blatantly ignoring the announcement on the plasma screens saying "REPORT AT ZEBRA CROSSING" when suddenly we heard a BANG! and this whole bevy of females started for the main gate. We were all "um, oops" and joined the back of the group, but by the time we made it to the path into ECP, guess what, we already saw the first females of the pack running OUT of ECP back to school already. Wth!

Haha after we were done with the run, the girls then settled down expectantly around the carpark outside fo the canteen to wait for the guys, who were flagged off after us, to come back. Our sole intention was to pick out the eye candy, an intention clearly also shared by the hundreds of other girls spread out across the area. Chattered innocuously until the first guy came running in and we could tell because the females at the main gate would be screaming and cheering and the guy would really ham it up, spurned on by the female attention he was getting to chiong all the way to the start :D He was really cute. But way too dark for my liking (to which Lijie proclaimed was her type hahaha). The next few guys who came in did so alone, so there was no fight over the placing, but after that there was this huge mad DASH between the handful of guys who would come in together and you would see random guys initially at the back sprint all the way to the front and the guys in front getting alarmed and starting to sprint for the finish line too. Rather entertaining I must say.

Following the end of the race was a superbloodyduper long prize presentation for the many winners that day, including 20 lucky draw prize winners who walked away with socks, caps, bags and food vouchers. Then after that Wenwen Jin Ning Sasa and I went to ORCHARD ROAD, a road I have not shopped at in ages T_T Poor me. I developed this sudden craving for the feel of Orchard Road's road so I badgered the rest to come along with me to town. Had a very nice and relaxing three hours there eating KFC and listening to Sasa imitate Sumaiyah's reading of her oral passage and laughing like crazy, then looking at the shops in Far East Plaza. Then after that had to take 36 back to school *sniffle* for training. Thankfully we didn't do any long runs :D

And I found out then about us having a mock NAPFA test next week Monday.

In VJ, the pass grade is D. Not an E. If you don't pass, ie., get a silver, you have to go for third period PE until you pass. LIKE OMG. If I don't have third period PE.. I can go home at like, 1.55 on Tuesdays! Siao ah! Because I have this 70 minute long break between my last lesson and PE. Ahhh! but you know I won't pass because I cannot freaking do 7 pull ups. Seriously, I can pull UP, but my chin can't touch the bar. I don't know if it's VJ's bars or whatever, but I do know I'm in serious trouble man T_T so then in the evening on the way back home I started calling people who lived in condos to ask if I could borrow the use of their gyms, like Jia (who apparently has an invalid phone no. -.-) and then Dev (who insisted the gym in his estate sucked at told me to go to Yishun gym instead. Then he suggested I do many push ups and lift everything I see).

(guest blogger here. Wen Wen!) Hhaha. It's so fun doing this in the library! Yeah!

guest blogger 2: (sasa) why wen wen type so slow de! stupid. xP

Um. Right. Anyway, back to what I was saying, oh yah Sasa told me that we wont't be using the bars outsisde the hall for pull ups. She says she's seen the actual equipment fo pull ups in VJ which we always use for actual NAPFA, with the detachable bar at a much saner height instead of the crazy solid metal bars I've been doing my pull ups at. Good grief! Scare me. Then maybe I can gek about 5. Yay!

Oh my goodness Vanessa Liu you know what you've been doing at 3.28pm today.

(ME! Bullying her! Ha! As if.)

ARGHHHHHH this must be the 43562th time blogger is asking me to log in after I signed up for bloggerfreakingbeta. I mean, what is the Remember Me tool good for, I ask you? To hell with blogger beta! I hate blogger beta!

Umm now there are many people in my house here to celebrate CNY and I am hiding in my room. Our neurotic, paranoid, suspicious, terribly-afraid-of-strangers cat is cowering under the bed in the master bedroom and refuses to come out (though I can imagine why, there are many little terrors just outside the door waiitng to squeal and pounce on it once it does). I think it gets cuter with every day :) Sorry that was random. Back to what I was saying, about many people in the house and many little children as well, OMG I hear abovementioned little children going "MEOW MEOW MEOW" what the hell do they want to do to the cat??

Oh yesterday as part of our annual CNY gathering we went over to my cousin's house (who is 39 and has 2 children; my family on my dad's side is very complicated and I shall elaborate later) in Clementi. Her son is the cousin I always refer to as a music pirate. But technically he is not my cousin, and I am his "biao yi". Because his mom is my cousin, as his mom's mom is my dad's elder sister, who is my "gu gu". And my "gu gu" is his grandmother. I have no idea why things are like this even though we are about the same age. Anyway, unlike last year when I came back home bringing back shitloads of illegally-downloaded songs, I didn't take as many such songs this year but instead brought back 3 movies :D in my 6GB Zen Neeon. They are Corpse Bride, the Kindaichi movie about blood-sucking vampires with this really =x actor as Kindaichi, and Hard Candy. :D:D:D Which is M18 and I have never watched an M18 movie before! But how come all the M18 movies seem so appealing to me, Notes of A Scandal (currently playing) seems awfully interesting as well. But I notice they all contain sexual affairs. I want to watch Hard Candy because it's about this pedophile who goes online searching for innocent young girls as prey, and he comes across this girl but turns out she's the one who takes revenge on him instead. But I don't dare =x to watch it because... I don't want to see any sexual scenes or gory violence! =x =x I'm still wholely innocent on the inside even though I may seem very liberal and open-minded and dirty :)

So yessssss the day is almost over and they're all having dinner outside. Gosh, I'm not done with my homework yet and THERE IS SCHOOL TOMORROW (cross-country, but still. I still have training after that can, wth but apparently that's the norm for sports CCAs in VJC. And on Friday I'm going to catch cats in Marine Crescent with PAWS. God, what kind of a life do I lead). I notice that at the start of the year I was all attentive and ready to listen and did my homework at the first chance I got, which was during the many breaks in my timetable, during which I would adjourn to the library and dutifully complete my tutorials, but NOOOOO not anymore. I don't even have the HEART to listen during Econs lectures nowadays (and I used to think they were INTERESTING), which is why I end up playing Hangman. It's really a huge SIAN word, if you know what I mean, you just can't bring yourself to start being obedient and hardworking again because you're so tired of it -.- Oh shit, I am so dead when common tests roll about, that's all I can say.

Today is the eve of the new year, and I have been spending a lot of it going to the toilet to pee, because I have drank a lot of water since morning. Traditionally, chinese new year eves are started when I wake up in the morning and hear my mom cooking in the kitchen, banging pots and pans as she prepares da yu da rou to offer my (already deceased) grandparents and the gods. Every year, sure got sea cucumber (she likes this very much), a whole chicken, beehoon and some sort of a veggie dish (with prawns).

How the cat spent its first Chinese New Year Eve

This year at 9 in the morning, the cat came in and batted at my pillow and I got up because the pillow shifted. It proceeded to roll on my mattress onto its back and wriggled for no reason. When I went to brush my teeth it came into the bathroom and I flicked water at it and it ran out of the room. Then for the rest of the morning it lazed on the sofa next to me as I finished reading Keeping Faith by Jodi Picoult, sometimes attempting to eat my fingers when I stroked it. Other times it jumped lightly onto the top of the sofa and pushed a paw into my hair before I swatted it away. Once it leaped onto the table where all the dishes were placed for offering and bounded over the rice bowls before I carried it off to the floor and gave it those angbao fish I made a few days ago, wanting to decorate the walls with them but eventually didn't because I was too lazy, and the poor paper fish (which got flattened completely) occupied its attention for about 19 seconds before it got bored and went to terrorize something else again. The last time I saw it it had run off into the storeroom when my sister's boyfriend came by, and wouldn't come out, just like on Thursday when Wenwen came over and scared the living daylights out of it and it hid in the storeroom for ages -.-

Mao wang (cat king)

Later on got steamboat dinner! I always get very excited about steamboats. I ate one abalone by myself yesterday for dinner :)

So um, yesterday was my first CNY celebration at VJ, and I went to school only because I wanted to hand up my scholarship application. Many people did not (NO NAOMI!), and so my class had like 10 people. Oh yes, I forgot to inform that my original class 07A14 has been reduced to about 14 people after many people either transferred/are transferring to science (about 7 of them, including Jin Ning, and all those who initially transferred from science into arts halfway through the first 3 months are now transferring out again, what the hell -.-) or moving on to greener pastures (like Vanessa to RJ). Some couldn't make the cut off and for that I am glad because I didn't like her particularly much anyway :D

But it was a brilliant CNY concert, the performances all clearly with a fine level of standard, especially the dances! Oh my goodness now I know where Ananda gets his pelvic thrusting motions from. The wushu guys were all quite appealing; they (most) had those super lean arms which I am excessively fond of. But a little too skinny for my liking :( And they could kick and punch and fly on the stage! How cool! The girls were good as well, I especially liked the girl who did the taiji routine, because even though her gestures were slow and calm, as opposed to the rest who flew by on the stage in a blur, but you can totally see the amount of force behind her sweeping movements and the power simply radiating from the routine! I mean, seriously. The whole concert was very entertaining. Even when Mr Chan (wearing a magenta shirt this time - he seems to have a whole closet of shirts ranging from every colour in that particular purple/pink spectrum because I don't think I've seen him wear a blue shirt yet) got on stage to sing along with some elderly folks from Chai Chee Home new year songs :) He was quite sporting, and his CNY speech was only 10 seconds long! Yay Mr Chan.

And they sprang the mass dance on us after the concert -.- I didn't retain any bit of the mass dance steps from orientation. Oh my god, I can't even shimmy propperly now :( Lijie came over to my class and I danced with her again :D And for the friendship dance, if we were bad at it before we were positively atrocious yesterday! Haha!

A group of us returned to Anderson yesterday and caught the last bit of the CNY concert. Most of the group was from 4/7 and so they went to the staff room eagerly and badgered Mdm Chan for CNY goodies (which she promised them), and Shunwei and I infiltrated the group to pian chi pian he. Lijie and Wenwen helped us and I shared my treats with Shunwei hahaha because Mdm Chan can bake! After that the 2/7ers met Mr Lim Kiang Wee and we took a photo with him, I have no idea what we did that for I think he was simply overwhelmed by our energy. Oh yes I remember, it was because all the 2/6 people were talking to Mdm Hee, their math teacher that year, so the 2/7ers got all huffy and wanted to talk to Mr Lim as well, haha! So ridiculous, Mr Lim looked very confused and I don't think he even remembers the bulk of us. But never mind lah :D The 4/7ers took a photo with Mrs Poh and Mrs Poh even asked Lijie to send it to the school! How out of the blue.

Naomi and I keep playing hangman during lectures :D We test each other inane words like phlegm (hers) and bronchi (mine). During times when we don't play hangman we take pictures of the plushies attached to her bag.

Fall of an orange creature

Naomi says they are busking in the sun.

And lastly, my favourite :D

Bloody hell I have a pimple just above my lip on the right side of my face -.- It isn't very obvious but it hurts like hell! Because I keep poking it by accident! Grrrrr.

I'm applying for many scholarships! MOE one, VJ one, but not the humanities one as I don't think I want to restrict myself to taking H2 lit, which is one of the necessary criteria ($1000 T_T). But firstly we have to write an essay on WHY we want the scholarship. And clearly I only want the scholarship for the MONEY, but I can't TELL them that to their face. So I was really stumped for the better part of the day, and didn't want to apply initially because! Still must go back to write an essay and even go for interviews in future! But thankfully I got a brainwave walking home and managed to crap out a very impressive (if I may say so myself :D) sounding essay that will, hopefully, awe the panel of judges and earn myself an interview! Haha I really want the money, not to mention that it'll totally beef up my resume in future to have gotten a scholarship.

Had a great Valentine's Day yesterday. Mostly because I got so many gifts. :P V Day in VJ is a BIG affair. Everywhere you go people are like pulling BAGS and BAGS of sweets and chocolates and home-made confectionary delights and balloons and cute little cards and teddy bears and stuff! And I felt so han suan lah because I only prepared stuff for 7 people. And what I prepared wasn't even really elaborate or thoughtful -.- I hadn't even planned to prepare ANYTHING one lah, but Naomi was so sweet and it made me feel so guilty about not giving anyone Valentine's Day presents for the past 4 years (stingy black-hearted creature, me :( ), so I last minute chionged something out in the afternoon before V Day and finished in the evening. Because I had to finish my essay that evening and go out to take photos (stupid MOE application form wanted FOUR photos -.- what the hell? My mom had to pay this aged old man in his ancient Kodak shop 8 dollars for 4 instant prints because it was so late and there were no other photo shops nearby!), I wasn't left with much time to be overly thoughtful on my presents. So I'm really, really sorry to all the super sweet girls in school who gave me something (and to those whom I'm not even close with as well) - sorry I didn't give you girls anything! Thank you all so much for your lovely gifts :D Especially to Jia who bakes the best cookies on earth. And brownies as well.

Umm going to have dinner already NO LESSONS TOMORROW! I love CNY.

On Saturday, the cat went missing for three hours. It was eventually found when my sister went to the second floor to look for it and saw it staring at her when she turned around. Then it got frightened and ran to hide under this flowerpot, squashed in this tiny dark dirty place where it had doubtlessly been hiding for the past two hours or so. And we couldn't coax it out even with food and toys and fake flower buds (which it loves to pretend is a mouse and chase after it, batting it with its paws and believing the buds are actually moving on its own). So my sister simply reached in and pulled it out. It was scared out of its wits lah, poor thing :( Stupid cat, run away for what. Worse, run away and get lost one floor below its home. Bad, bad cat. I used to think it would be great if my sister would somehow give it away so it wouldn't keep clawing my lap and biting my stationery when I was trying to do work... but that night I didn't see it for three hours and I was so upset I wanted to cry :( I guess I do want to keep it after all. Cute cat :D

As a reward for doing well, my dad bought me the N73. I think he secretly likes buying electronic gadgets lor he keeps buying them. The other time he bought the 6 GB Zen Neeon the day he went to ask if he could repair my old one (yes, but super expensive) and this time he bought it on the spot after queueing up to see the model. Wahh (but who's complaining). 3.2 MP camera! GORGEOUS. I got the silver/brown one because the red/white one was just too striking. Tested it out today when I went KBoxing with Amy (Jin Ning had gone to crash RJ, then subsequently NJ, in the morning, so she was late, and in the end she realised she didn't have enough money to sing so she didn't in the end).

Here is the longan that turned purple in my longan blackcurrant whatever drink (Amy said it tasted very strongly of Ribena and it really did). I think KNOW they put too much blackcurrent concentration into it. I mean, just look at the colour of my drink again. Plus, KBox rips people off when they sing during the 2 to 7 slot! It cost Amy and I 17 dollars each to sing and have 2 drinks and share a measly bowl of peanuts (also pictured above). Wahhhhhhh. I thought it was supposed to be ten dollars or something! And because there were only 2 of us, we ran out of songs to sing quite quickly -.- In the end we even tried out She Bangs (the William Hung version, ohmygod it's fucking funny) and er, the PCK musical theme song. Hehehe.

I want to do intensive shopping, but have not yet had the chance to. Eagerly anticipating post new year sales :D Will go offline now because there's SCHOOOOOOOOL tomorrow =x Tata!

Oh can't believe I forgot to mention this! Yesterday after we'd left school and were walking along the stretch of HDB blocks opposite Anderson, some pok-er threw eggs at us! From one of the HDB blocks! At first we were just innocently walking along, Kum Boon and Jin Ning walking quickly in front while Nicky, Jenna and I trailed behind somehow, and then I heard this huge SPLAT/CRACK and the 2 girls in front jumped as they were in the line of fire, but the egg had landed in the drain. So they were all $#@&* stupid egg-thrower!, but at least it didn't hit them, and the others were all, Why the hell is someone throwing eggs out of their windows at 5 in the evening, and we continued walking until AGAIN there was s SPLAT/CRACK and bits of shell flew everywhere into my calves! Unfortunately, this time Jin Ning and Kum Boon kena-ed a bit of egg =x Jin Ning got egg all over the back of her pinafore and her Nikes. I was outraged lah I got egg on my shoelaces! Bloody hell! And the socially deprived pok-er (for he must have been jealous of our intimate friendships as he himself has none, why else would he do such a ridiculous thing! My God, what is wrong with the world. And it must be a he lah because no girl will do such a messy thing) wasn't satisfied, soon after that, while we were all standing around stunned by the atrocity of that little asshole, another egg hit the drain next to us, so Nicky got all riled up and said some very bad words. But on the warped side, quite exciting lah no one's ever thrown an egg at me before :D

Urgh I don't think my FMP layout's going to surface any time soon. I have SO MUCH to do! I need to finish my math tutorials, and revise the topics we're doing as well as for econs (Elasticity) because I have the absorbency of a rock, and also must finish some lame Figurative Fun worksheet for Lit! I'm supposed to apply lit techniques (oh wait I just used a metaphor! Or is it something else?) to mundane sentences like "They were wearing new shirts" and "The soldiers walked down the road". So far all that I've tried I've been using imagery, metaphors, similes and one very forced alliteration (stout, strong, superior LOL), none of that metonymy, conceits s-whatever nonsense. It's super lame lah how to apply imagery to "They were wearing new shirts?"

Here are more photos of the cat :)

SOOOOOOO cute! Especially the first one look at its ADORABLE TAIL! Squishy squishy!

-.- And this is the one Jia says looks like an alien cat. It's not! It's got large soulful eyes :)

Um random picture here with Naomi on the right and Jin Ning on the left, working on our CNY plasterboard at the T-block. What you see is really a very colourful black pig with colourful flowers growing out of its back and many swirly wirly designs, and a scroll that says Chun dao fu lai. You can't see the little pink piglet (with flower prints on its skin) and the other scroll saying Wan xiang geng xin. Naomi is such an artistic person lah, she drew both the phoenix for our house banner and this pig. She had to enlarge her designs by like 10 times and she did it without complaint! I also love to work with her when we get into groups, she volunteers to write every time :P

Oh dear, Valentine's Day is coming up and we're supposed to unveil our true identities to our mortals and our angels to us that day, what am I to give my angel, who is super sweet? First letter she sent me she gave me Snapple and M&Ms! Which is more, MUCH MORE than I can say about my idiotic mortal by the name of Daryl, from my senior class. He didn't reply to my letter! Sent out almost 3 weeks ago! With a stick of apple Mentos! Grr! So rude! I will totally spit in his face on 14th Feb. Gahh. So annoyed.

Jia's baking cookies again, I love her chocolate chip cookies nyah nyah nyah :D Sasa isn't going to be staying in VJ. I'm going to miss her sitting next to me and laughing at Mrs Tan during our econs tutorials and always falling asleep and not waking up when I tell her to :( And her random bouts of vulgarity/crudeness ("neh nehh POK~" and "bai bai" OMG I JUST SAID SUCH VULGAR THINGS ON MY BLOG!) which will make me smack her to shut her up but she won't anyway. And her super lame-o jokes! Aww. (By the way all the POK references in this blog are because Sasa invented this new vulgar word which is as vulgar as the F-word but doesn't sound so vulgar and we keep saying it in school in place of the F-word hahaha!)

And I didn't tell anyone this but I am so, so, so happy that all my effort, my hard work, my sweat blood and tears (haha exaggeration but still), my late night mugging, my 10cm thick stack of handwritten notes, my constant trips to AMK library with Amy and Jin Ning every weekday of the hols to study from 10 to 6, my obsession with regurgitating Bio concepts because I kept fretting I'd forget them the moment I was done with the chapter, my crazy mugging for SS and Chem and Bio and repeated readings and analysis of TET and my essay-writing ALL PAID OFF! Even my B3 for A Math which I kinda expected because I screwed up Paper 2, doesn't rankle (no one else got B3 lor, everyone got at least a distinction lol) because I totally de-prioritized that, and mugged only 2 days before the exam. So it is true, it is so very true that you reap what you sow, and thank God for that!

I feel so good about myself now, my mom says she will buy 2 more cans of abalone for me to eat :D She also mentioned something about 50 dollars per subject so if that really comes true I can get $350. Yayness. Monday is another K-Box session with Jin Ning and Amy. More mindless yodelling! Cheers!

Six was my favourite number for the longest time because I was register number six for four years in primary school. No wonder lah :D

Today we got our results back, and the classes of 2006 did fantastically well at the Os! We achieved the best performance for the school in the last 8 years, can, and our average L1B5 is below ten (omg), L1R5 is like 10.2 or something, so we are STILL a Band 1 school :D :D :D I'm so proud of all of you Andersonians! The Sec 4s this year will have so much to live up to. Hehe I can't wait for all of them to go through the torture we did last year.

Right up till reaching the school I never once felt overly anxious or tense. Still had that neutral, nonchalant feeling about collecting results. Time just seemed to pass kind of quickly. Hehe played Bridge with Nicky (who has this super duper nice black and orange Adidas bag, which Jia tried to steal), Dev and Tammy (just like old times!) in the school canteen... And I didn't win a single game! This is ridiculous, I am an experienced Bridge expert who has countless triumphs under her belt. I resolve to improve my Bridge skills.

Oh right, so when we actually got into the hall and sat down and Mrs Poh started telling us just how well we'd done, we all went nuts lah, because having such good averages for each subject meant that each of us had a better chance of scoring well individually. Chia Jia Qian got 8 A1s! And so did many many people like Shunwei, Letch, Mas, who had to stand up when their names appeared on the powerpoint slides so we could clap for them. Then after that was a super long list of 6 pointers, which turned out to be incomplete, so in actual fact we had many, much MORE 6 pointers, who are all probably going to flood RJ/HCI/VJC and take the world by storm :D It was SUCH a happy day! I must have hugged three thousand people and jumped and screamed twice that amount of times. I was really happy because both Dev and Nicky did well enough to meet VJ's cut off and this means the four of us (with Jia) might be in the same school together again! :):):):):):)

Everyone was getting like 6 7 or 8 points lor, such a lovely sight.

After we got tired of running around all high about our results, Wenwen, Jia, Jin Ning, Nicky, Jenna and I went for lunch high tea at Sumo House, and then proceeded to comb AMK Central for Jia's long-sleeved white shirt (for kayaking during ODAC camp) and other necessities like ziploc bags and brown ribbon and cookie mix (for Valentine's Day). We went into AMK Hub (uh does it sound weird, or what) and Nicky stuck his hands through the pant holes of this pair of mini Converse shorts because Jia and I told him it kept arms warm. Jin Ning went chocolate-shopping and Wenwen bought white coffee -.- Jia taught us that it was alright to open and consume your purchases before you reach the cashier, as long as you actually pay for it in the end. And then Wen and Jin Ning wanted to go to my house to play with the kitty cat but it was too late so we all went home instead.

What a satisfying day n_n

AHHHHHHH I found the 2/7 video from 2004 half an hour ago and just finished watching it. It was super funny can (esp. Synny executing his macho pushups and our mass-Murderer played by having everyone join hands and the murderer would have to kill by squeezing the hand of the person after him 5 times)! All those snippets of our life in school when we were fourteen (gosh, how kiddish we looked :P). If only we could relive them! And now that I'm not part of Anderson anymore it also serves to remind me to miss Anderson :( It captured Anderson in its pre-PRIME state, so the walls were still the pretty sage green and creamy white, and the stairs were still grey and not blue and our old library was still there and etc. And especially the sec 2 block, that stretch of corridor towards the 2/7 classroom that I must have walked thousands of times in 2004. It's no more! The block's been torn down and reconstructed :( Gan jue bu yi yang le la.

YESTERDAY ANDERSON B DIV BEAT ST NICKS B DIV, 30 - 21. YOU GO GIANTS! It was a splendid match, I'm glad I went down to watch :D Even though we were like 10 minutes late, and that's because we boarded the MRT at Bradell going towards the wrong direction and didn't realise it until we were at City Hall. I think St Nicks was shocked silly. This is the first time Anderson has beat them in like many, many years, and by such a large margin as well. But luckily for us this team was weaker than the teams we previously went up against, and some more the B Div has emerged this year newly formidable :P

I want sleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep. Will go get sleep. Sleeeeeeeeep.

I am so upset! I tried to log into Anderson Portal and it says that my account has been deactivated. T_T I'm no longer an Andersonian!! I feel like bursting into tears.

No need to wake up early tomorrow - Yes! Unfortunately, it is also time to face the music for our actions. Although I can't say I'm feeling very anxious or nervous, more of a rather calming sense of acceptance of whatever is going to happen tomorrow (but when I start thinking about actually holding my results in my hands and having to look down and read my score, I start getting seizures).

Good luck to you all :)

I have GOT to stop promising things which I end up not doing -.- Um, the new layout probably won't be up for the time being. I kind of decided I wasn't satisfied enough with it, so I'm dumping it and making a new one. Plus, I'm rewatching Qing Shen Shen Yu Meng Meng (yay! more Qiong Yao melodrama :D) on Youtube! I can't imagine how people survived without Youtube in the past. Did they really do and buy all the VCDs of TV series they wanted to watch?!

Anyway, today I went to "crash" AJ's cross-country after school. The thing is, by the time Jin Ning, Lijie and I found the correct Bishan Park (till now I have no idea whether it's Bishan Park 1 or Bishan Park 2), they were already dismissed. -.- I even had to get Dev and Tammy to go to the entrance to wave at us so we would know where they were. At first I didn't plan on going one, but both Jin Ning and Lijie were talking about how they were going to find Siew Boon and Xinyi repectively and I thought, I don't have anything to do at home anyway, might as well go and find Dev, so we all went along to Bishan Park, only it turned out we were in the wrong one, and initially we didn't even know we were in the wrong PARK we simply thought we were in the wrong END, and we traipsed across the entire park (ENTIRE PARK, CRAZY MEANDERING FOOTPATHS AND ALL) naively thinking sooner or later we would hear lots of bustling activity and be reunited with our friends, but no.

So after crossing the park twice, we whipped out our handphones and dialled for help. Finally we ascertained that we had, indeed, gone into the wrong park (something we refused to believe in our state of denial), we trudged across the park again to the other extreme end to cross the road to reach the other Bishan Park. Then while we were almost at the road, mindless with grief, I HEARD SOMEONE CALLING ME FROM A DISTANCE, and it was Tammy! I saw these 2 figures in yellow and white waving maniacally and running across the road to attract my attention, and I was simply so pleased to see Tammy and Dev aagin (even though I only saw them on Wed!) that I started running towards them as well, a plastic file in one hand and a totebag swinging wildly in another! Perhaps it was the mind-numbing distance we'd covered (my calves BURNED) coupled with the relief that we'd finally reached our goal that caused me to lose my inhibitions :D

Um, seeing as how their x-country had already ended, all I ended up doing was to go home with Dev. On this crazy 851 packed full of AJ people, so we had to stand on the steps, and I had to hobble up to the main level of the bus so the doors could close without flattening me. The bus was the 3rd 85something bus we saw during our course of waiting, seeing as how the first one simply passed us by and the 2nd one was too full. How annoying. I met Gang Quan and Aqidah at the bus stop!

UPDATE on 7th Feb

For some reason nowadays I get ridiculously happy when I see people from Anderson. Uh yes, like I was saying I have got to stop embarking on things I can't finish, like blogging. Anyway, I am in the VJC library now during the 70 minute break before econs lecture typing this, and Vanessa Liu was by my side until she looked at her handphone and went "shit, Lingga I have to go now" and ran away. Just now I was doing my econs survey and I couldn't find Assingment I keep typing that instead of Assignment, maybe it's the aircon it's bloody freezing in here, my fingers and brain are numb from the cold, and how come the backspace key is so short, is t too hard to ask for to make the backspace key longer so that every time you hit it blindly you can actually delete something instead of hitting something else and not typing a letter in the word you were typing, or something? WHAT IS WITH THIS WORLD??

Anyway, did I mention I crashed AJ last Wed (although cannot really be counted as crashing la, we kind of went after lessons haha how sad), and we met Dev and Tammy-the-hockey-girl :D Dev was playing soccer with the soccer people because he wanted to hide from the track team (who were due to run at Turf City and Dev didn't want to), so Jin Ning, Amy and I sat at the grandstands and pretended we were all hot for him and cheered whenever he kept a goal from scoring. Or headbutted the ball (once). Or moved at all. AJ has such a homely feeling! I'm not very sure why, but in terms of layout, people (the basketball team was stretching behind us, and I swear, with their mixture of chinese and english and dialect and the way they joked and fooled around, it felt JUST like I was back in Anderson again), surroundings... it's all so familiar for some reason! Perhaps because it's in YCK, and I can reach home in 15 minutes from the bus stop opposite the school. How nice if that were true for VJ T_T Oh plus, AJ has cute guys can, the basketballers were like running around the track and lifting their shirts up to cool themselves and the 3 of us were like O.O O.O O.O VJ right, you throw a rock you will hit some ugly guy. Except for the pretty girls lah, so many pretty girls, na'r you wo men sheng cun de yu di, something Jia and I were totally in agreement with. Hot guys are high in demand but low in supply :( And they're in J2, which means they're UNTOUCHABLES, as they probably already have their pretty J2 girl friends already. Aww.

Will continue blogging this weekend lah, since O Levels results are released this Friday =x I'm just happy because there's no school on Fri and Mon, wahaha!
